For Merchants
Merchants. You're the core of our MarquetteCASH program. Whether you're simply seeking more information, or are interested in joining the MarquetteCASH network, we'd like to hear from you. So get in touch and we'll respond right away. Please call Blackboard's Bb One™ Network at (800) 576-9279 with any questions.

Merchant agreements prohibit the acceptance of MarquetteCASH as payment for purchases of alcohol and tobacco, and lottery rules prohibit the acceptance of MarquetteCASH as payment for lottery tickets. Marquette also consider the acceptance by participating merchants of MarquetteCASH as payment for purchases of birth control products or pornography to be inconsistent with a merchant’s future participation in the MarquetteCASH program. Other requirements, such as acceptance of MarquetteCASH for delivered products only, may also apply to selected merchants. Marquette reserves the right to use “secret shoppers” to determine whether participating merchants are in compliance with these requirements.

When Marquette becomes aware that a participating merchant may not be in compliance with these requirements, Marquette will provide the relevant information to the participating merchant and allow three (3) calendar days for response. If Marquette subsequently determines that a participating merchant is not in compliance with these requirements, the participating merchant will be offered the opportunity to suspend voluntarily its participation in the MarquetteCASH program for thirty (30) days. During the period of suspension, the participating merchant will be required to provide Marquette with reasonable assurance that the participating merchant’s other transactions during the current fiscal year (from the previous July 1 to the date of the suspension) have been in compliance with these requirements. If the participating merchant (1) declines to accept the suspension, or (2) fails to provide sufficient evidence that its previous transactions have been in compliance with these requirements, or (3) violates these requirements after reinstatement following a suspension, Marquette will request that the merchant’s future participation in the MarquetteCASH program be terminated by BbOne. No appeals and no second reinstatement will be considered by Marquette.

Marquette has concluded that this policy is necessary to permit Marquette to honor its commitments to parents concerning the purchases for which MarquetteCASH may be used and to encourage merchants to take all available steps to prevent misuse of MarquetteCASH.
